BMEA Supporter,
Happy Black History Month! As we reflect on the journey of our people and the remarkable history of Black people, BMEA is proud to work daily to improve educational outcomes for our children.
Below is a diagram that visually represents how BMEA transforms schools into liberatory spaces. As you can see, to make such a vision a reality, it takes commitment, vision, support, execution, and meaningful work. No matter your role or relationship with the education system, you can share in this vision through your continued support of BMEA.

We invite you to read more about how we transform education here on our website.
In this edition of The BMEA Newsletter, we invite you to explore our work in New York City Public Schools, meet our Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Staci L. Williams, take a look back at our Holiday Luncheon, and read about the progress and expansion of The Black Minds Leadership Program.
Thank you for your continued support of The Work. We could not do this without you!
With appreciation,
Curtis L. Lewis, Ph.D.
