Equitable Education Solutions Through School Partnerships

Our Framework

BMEA has created a unique framework for building equitable learning environments, rooted in Restorative Practices and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy that allows school communities to develop independent learners.

We operate several impactful, in-school programs that deliver equitable education solutions designed to liberate students, teachers, school leaders, and school systems/policies to transform the education landscape. Through this work, we nurture confident and skilled individuals while also creating a pipeline for Black males to pursue careers in teaching or STEM-related fields.

Professional Development for Building Equitable Learning Environments"

We partner with schools to foster relationship-centered cultures through Restorative Practices and implement instructional models that promote student independence while creating sustainable pathways for educational equity."

Our instructional model builds on each school’s curriculum, allowing educators to deliver instruction that is both relevant and engaging. This approach:

  • Enhances knowledge utilization

  • Fosters natural curiosity

  • Supports the production of high-quality work

District and school leaders are active participants in this process, modeling social-emotional competencies with BMEA’s support. Together, we ensure the successful implementation of practices that strengthen the entire school community.

What Our School Partners Say

“Proud to partner with BMEA, an organization that truly centers children and families. During the past couple of years Michael Payne Jr. has cultivated meaningful connections with teachers at my school through coaching and professional development. This partnership has resulted in the elevation of student discussions, learning outcomes, and restorative practices, in addition to contributing to our 93% teacher retention rate. I suggest that district and school leaders review their page and consider a partnership.”
